The Technical Recruiter will recruit and select top talent to fill new and replacement staff from both internal and external sources.

Job Functions:


-Demonstrate both technical and interpersonal skills while performing in a high performance recruiting team.


-Screen applicants, using an applicant tracking system.


-Maintain application files.


-Coordinate internal job postings and transfer programs.


-Administer tests and conduct initial interview to ensure only qualified candidates are referred.


-Administer new hire procedures, including reference checks.


-Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are in compliance with governmental regulations.


May confer with manager to determine screening guidelines for resumes and candidates meet functional needs and requirements.


-May be responsible for the daily work flow to ensure paperwork in processed and staff in adequately trained. Reviews and analyzes existing procedures and recommends changes when necessary to make sure area is efficient.





Requires a Bachelors and 2+ years of directly related experience. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Working knowledge of Staffing practices, principles, applications, methods, communication, recruiting and interviewing skills.

LDS Church Temporary HR Recruiter

Description
Temporary position with full-time hours for six months.

The Audiovisual Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter. This position provides full-cycle recruiting support and is responsible for meeting individual sourcing, assessing and presenting candidates. The recruiter provides strong strategic support to the organization by consulting on the process and expectations. Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Consult and advise hiring managers on established process, collaborate on job requisition details and creation, and advise on effective candidate assessment/interview techniques. Review job descriptions to ensure proper format for Internet and corporate job postings. Source talented and diverse candidates through creative methods. Effectively screen and interview candidates to assess skill & cultural fit. Work well with ,candidates, hiring managers corporate recruitment staff, and HR management. Ensure positive applicant experience through the interview and hiring process. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts. Consistently update applicant tracking system and hiring mangers in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required Skills are:
-Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field
-Membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, currently temple worthy
-A willingness to serve through a focused recruiting effort
-At least 4+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting
-Excellent communications skills (written & verbal)
-Demonstrated ability to succeed in candidate screening & interviewing
-Ability to source candidates from job boards, job fairs, referral generation, networking, and cold calling
-Knowledge of state/federal labor laws and guidelines
-Ability to work within contractual time constraints to meet objectives
-Well-versed with Microsoft Office programs; web-based applications; applicant tracking; and the Internet including Internet job boards.

Desired but not required skills:
-Experience with Taleo or Candidate Source applicant tracking systems
-Recruiting experience in a corporate environment

Comcast Experienced HR Manager

Job Title: Employee Engagement Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Working Location: Sandy, Utah

Overview
Provide effective employee & labor relations consultative services to all region locations. Provide guidance on employee policies and practices. Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints, employment litigation, and workplace violations. Participate in and lead the local grievance process for organized workgroups. Provide consultation and guidance on approaches to build employee engagement and a positive work climate.

Job Responsibilities
1. Partner with the regional HR Business Partners to drive employee engagement initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of employee engagement and labor management relations.
2. Lead and manage an ER/LR business partner and together, operate as an internal case management team. The ER/LR team will focus on investigating employee complaints, handling grievances, responding to employment claims (e.g. unemployment, wage & hour, EEOC, etc.,) employee terminations and facilitate positive work climate initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in related human resources discipline or equivalent education, HR certifications and work experience.
2. Significant HR experience in a professional capacity supporting a field organization with effective skills and competencies in employee relations and labor relations.
3. Demonstrated capabilities in leading effective employee focus group meetings.
4. Exceptional customer service orientation.
5. Seasoned consultative skills.
6. Demonstrated project management and implementation skills.
7. Highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills.
8. Demonstrated results orientation.
9. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
10. Strong knowledge of Utah and Federal employment laws.
11. Knowledge and proficiency of PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree.
2. Ten or more years of HR experience.
3. Demonstrated capability in union grievance process management.
4. PHR or SPHR certification.
